Ingredients
- 12 oz. butter
- 1 lb. sugar
- 13 eggs
- 12 oz. carbonate of soda
- 14 oz. acid
- 2 lbs. flour
- 8 ozs. currants
- Milk

Cooking Instructions
Cream butter with sugar. Add eggs. Mix flour with carbonate of soda and acid. Combined ingredients and add currants. Mix all together with milk, and bake in a small edged pan. Cut into squares when cold.
